NBI Renewal

For applicants with a previous NBI clearance issued from 2014 onward. No new fingerprints required.

First-Time Application
$149 + HST
For applicants who have never had an NBI clearance or whose name/marital status has changed.
Includes:
- NBI Form 5 submission to NBI Manila — included in your service fee
- All NBI fees and handling charges
- Canada-wide delivery available
- Status updates throughout the process
Note: NBI Form No. 5 (the “Blue Form”) is a Philippine government document, not something we sell. Where we’re able, we help first-time clients obtain one as a courtesy, subject to availability — free to pick up at our Toronto office, or shipped to you for a separate tracked-shipping fee.
Note: Fingerprinting is arranged through accredited third-party providers or via mail-in kit and is a separate cost.

NBI HIT Resolution

A HIT means the NBI has matched your name against a record — most often a namesake. It must be cleared before your clearance can be issued, and clearing it is a matter between you and the NBI.
A HIT does not trigger any automatic charge from us. We do no HIT work unless you ask us to. If you do ask, we take it on only where a resolution is reasonably foreseeable, as a separate service quoted case by case.
Where we assist, that can involve:
- Review of NBI Quality Report
- Affidavit of Denial or Admission preparation
- Notarization and consulate authentication
- Coordination with NBI Manila
- Legal support from JCA Law Office
Processing time: Varies by case
Non-Filipino passport holders: If you apply using a passport other than a Philippine passport, an additional $50 applies to cover the extra identity-verification and record-matching steps required — for example, regular processing is $149 + HST instead of $99. This surcharge applies to all processing options.

Payment Methods
We accept Interac e-Transfer as our primary payment method. Here’s how it works:
- Submit your application through our online form
- We review your application and confirm the service and total amount
- You receive Interac e-Transfer payment instructions via email
- Once payment is received, we begin processing your NBI clearance
All prices are in Canadian dollars. HST (13%) applies to Ontario residents. Other provinces may have different tax rates.
Frequently Asked Questions About Pricing
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price you see includes all NBI government fees, processing, and handling. Delivery of your original clearance is a separate fee you choose on the application form — Canada Post Xpresspost (tracked, $39) is our recommended option — and a digital (PDF) copy is emailed to you at no charge with every order. First-time applicants who need NBI Form No. 5 shipped also choose a separate tracked-shipping fee on the application form (free if picked up at our Toronto office). There are no surprise charges.
Do I need to pay NBI directly?
No. All NBI fees are included in our service price. You make one payment to us and we handle everything, including the NBI government fee.
Is it cheaper to do it myself?
Barely. When you add up the NBI fee, international courier ($40–80), local transport, and your contact’s time, DIY costs $50–90+ for a renewal. Our service is $99 + HST ($111.87 in Ontario) with everything handled. The $20–60 difference buys you peace of mind, faster processing, and no favors owed. Can I get a refund?
The processing fee is non-refundable. Once we have your complete documents and your full payment, your application is endorsed to the NBI straight away and the government fees are paid at that point, so the fee is earned as soon as the work is done. What we do refund is anything we have not yet done for you: delivery is refunded in full while your clearance has not been shipped, the Form No. 5 shipping charge is refunded in full if we do not ship you a form, and the express add-on is refunded where express handling has not yet been applied. The Form No. 5 shipping charge is refunded in full if we do not ship you a form. To request a refund, email info@nbirenewal.ca with your reference number.

We do not keep money for things we have not done — any shipping you paid for that we have not performed comes back to you in full.
